Questions contractors ask

I'm not great with technology. Will I manage?

If you can take a photo and send a text, you can use TradeBook. It's built for one-handed use on a phone, on site, with big buttons and no setup beyond your business details.

Does it handle sales tax?

Set your combined state and local rate once in Settings and choose whether labor is taxed. TradeBook adds it to your invoices and quotes. It doesn't file anything with your state, and the rules differ by state, so check yours.

My bookkeeper uses QuickBooks. Does that matter?

No. Export every job, receipt and line item as a CSV whenever you want and hand it over. Your bookkeeper keeps working the way they do now.

What happens when the free trial ends?

We never ask for a card to start. When the trial ends, pick monthly or annual to keep going. If you don't, nothing is charged, and you can still export your data.

Does it work on Android?
